A Revolutionary War map issued for the French edition of John Marshall’s Life of Washington. Towards the end of the war, the British-having incurred several losses in the north-began focusing on the southern colonies. The French edition of Marshall’s work was considered superior because of its fine high-quality printing and separate folio atlas.
